Update 2 · October 2026

Report numbers change in this update, because they are now right. Reports are calculated when you open them, so the numbers for past periods change too.

Working time

  • Holidays count on their own date in every time zone. West of UTC they used to fall on the day before. A holiday on the first or last day of the period now counts.
  • Working time no longer gains or loses a day across a daylight saving change. Example: London, 24/7 calendar, the 48 hours across 25 October showed as 72 h. On the day of the change itself, up to 1 hour of difference can remain.

Days and weeks

Medians, percentiles, the Excel export and chart values in days or weeks now use your calendar's working day, like the table. They used Jira's 8-hour day, so they get smaller: with a 9-hour day by 1/9, and with a 24/7 calendar days become a third and weeks about a quarter.

Total row

In grouped reports with "Total at Page level", the Total row's Median and 85th percentile now come from each issue's own time. Before, they came from running totals. In Time in Status and Recent Time in Status they get lower; in Avg time in Status they can go up or down.

Calendar line

Each time report names its calendar in your time zone, for example "Calendar: Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00 (Europe/London). Time outside these hours isn't counted." If your browser still holds working days or hours from an earlier save of your personal settings, the line says so and offers "Use the app's calendar".

See Time Reports (Time in Status).

Worklogs

  • Worklogs Report, Timesheets, the Time Tracking gadget and the tree's worklog dialog no longer stay blank when an issue has more than 20 worklogs.
  • The Worklogs panel on an issue lists all of its worklogs, not only the first 20.
  • While a big report loads its worklogs, it shows how far it has got.
  • Worklogs Report grouped by a worklog attribute counts every worklog. A worklog without a value for a Number attribute is now in the "undefined" row, not in the "0" row.
  • In the Category and Group views, the Total column is in real days (it used a 5-hour day), and the Total row includes the UNDEFINED column.

See Timesheets.

Access

Global Settings > Access now keeps the users and groups you pick (closing the picker used to empty the list, so Save stored "All"). It also keeps a user or group Jira can no longer find, such as a deleted user or a renamed group, and after "Clear all" the field reads "All".

Access now also applies to the Epic Hierarchy gadget. If you restricted access before, please check the setting. A gadget that isn't set up yet shows the no-access message to people Access leaves out.

See Agile Tools settings.

Also fixed

  • "Last N weeks" without the current week always ends the day before this week. When this week began in the previous month, the period used to end a month late.
  • The Epic Hierarchy gadget follows your global settings, like the other gadgets.
  • A field your site no longer has (a deleted field, or a field type the app can't read) is left out of a report, a gadget or the JSON feed instead of stopping it.
  • Reports per person finish on changes that have no author, and "nobody" shows an empty avatar instead of a broken image.
  • More > Saved Reports says so when your saved reports can't be read, instead of "No Saved Reports".
  • When Jira refuses an edit in the tree, the message shows Jira's reason, and a refused status change no longer freezes the tree.
  • Share Link and Json Feed have a Copy button.
  • The SLA Report gadget no longer shows a "beta" banner.
  • The app's icon in Jira's Apps menu is now Agile Tools' own.
  • A security fix for worklog attributes: a change now reaches only the worklog it was made for.
  • The footer shows the app's current version, plus small text fixes.

Update 1 · October 2026

Agile Tools is now made by Votazz.

New look

The app has the Votazz logo and app icon. Help links open the documentation on docs.votazz.co, and support mail goes to support@votazz.co. Help, documentation and Contact Us links work again.

Gantt

  • Gantt works without any setup. It uses Jira's Start date (or Target start) and Due date until you choose other fields in Settings.
  • Dragging a bar asks before it changes an issue's dates, saves whole days, and bars cover their due day.
  • Tick "Don't ask again" to stop the question. Settings > Gantt > Ask before changing dates brings it back.

Dates

Start and Due dates show the same day as in Jira. Before, some users whose Jira time zone is west of their browser's saw dates one day early.

Time reports

  • Transition reports include the last day of the range, so their numbers can grow.
  • In browsers west of UTC the range no longer starts on the evening before the first day.
  • Per Time Grain, Time with Assignee per Status and Time in Status per Assignee count exactly the chosen days in every time zone.
  • The Time Tracking gadget counts the last day of its range.

See Time Reports (Time in Status).

  • Old links with Inward or Both open with the right direction.
  • Old links to time reports have their Group By again.
  • New links with "last N days" are counted from the day they are opened, like saved reports.

Saved reports

If Jira doesn't answer while you save or delete a report, nothing is changed and you get a message. Before, your other saved reports could be erased.

Timesheets

A picked issue's attributes and Billable choice are saved. Values lost before can't be restored: set them again by editing the worklog. See Timesheets.

Settings

Saving your personal settings keeps only what you changed, so an admin's later changes still reach you. See Agile Tools settings.

Also

  • Images load on "Switch to" and What's New.
  • A gadget whose setup was cancelled says how to set it up.
  • Warnings stay on screen until you close them.
