More accurate reports. Report numbers changed where they were wrong.

Worklogs Report numbers

• Category/Group view: the Total column counts real days and weeks, and the Total row includes the UNDEFINED column.
• Grouped by a worklog attribute: worklogs with no value count in one "-" group; a value of 0 keeps its own rows.
• "Last N weeks" without this week ends the day before this week.

• Reports and Timesheets no longer go blank on issues with more than 20 worklogs; the Worklogs tab lists them all.
• Global Settings > Access keeps the users and groups you pick. If you restricted access before, please check it.
• Reports and Timesheets no longer stay loading after a failed search.
• Search By can be switched before Jira's lists load.
• Saved Reports says when it can't be read.
• Edits Jira refuses show Jira's own message.
• Share Link has a Copy button.

For Jira admins

The Attributes page opens Jira's Time tracking settings to choose the provider: choose Worklog & Timesheets there and save. See Worklogs Attributes.

Worklog now comes from Votazz.

New look and working links

• Worklog has the Votazz logo and its own icon in Jira's Apps menu.
• Help links go to docs.votazz.co, and support is at support@votazz.co.
• Jira's Time tracking page lists the time tracking provider as Worklog & Timesheets, and the admin page is called Worklog & Timesheets Settings.
• Upgrade and pricing links open Worklog's Marketplace listing.
• Links that open a new tab work again: Documentation, Contact Us, issue keys and help links. Cancelling Jira's "Opening external page" prompt is no longer shown as an error.

Log Time dialog

When you pick the issue in the Log Time dialog on Timesheets, the worklog's attributes and Billable choice are saved. See How to log time with attributes.

Saved reports

If Jira doesn't answer while the app reads your saved reports, saving or deleting a report stops with a message. Before, your other saved reports could be erased.

Time Tracking gadget

• The gadget counts worklogs on its To day.
• A one-day range (From and To on the same day) shows its worklogs. Before, it showed 0h.
• West of UTC the gadget no longer counts the evening before the From day; east of UTC the first hours of the From day now count.

Worklogs Report

• Grouping by Parent works again.
• Date-only fields (Due date, Start date and date pickers) show the same day as in Jira, in the report and in its CSV. For users whose browser time zone differs from their Jira profile time zone, some of these dates move by one day and now match Jira.
• A misspelt JQL search shows Jira's error under the query box.
• Opening Worklog without choosing a screen shows Worklogs Report.

CSV exports

• Quotes are escaped, so Jira text can no longer break its cell or turn into a spreadsheet formula.
• The Month columns of Worklogs Report are named by month again.

Faster screens

Each screen loads only its own code. Worklogs Report loads its chart library only when it draws a chart, the first search starts before the query editor has finished loading, and settings load in parallel.

Also

• Warnings stay until you close them, and the same warning within 3 seconds shows only once. Confirmations close by themselves after 8 seconds.
• Images in What's New and on the renewal page load again, and the What's New bell counts only Worklog's own news.
• A dashboard gadget whose setup was cancelled explains how to set it up.
• On a Standard licence, the issue's Worklogs tab explains that it is part of Advanced.
• The app no longer writes tokens, settings, account IDs or attribute values to its logs or the browser console.

Known issue

Date-and-time cells on the tree and time report pages, when opened from an address or a shared link, still use the browser's time zone.
